Can I clone pages behind authentication?

Not yet, but soon! We're currently developing a secure authentication feature that will allow you to provide credentials for protected pages. Our system will handle login flows automatically, including CAPTCHA solving via 2Captcha. This feature is already in active development and will be released soon.

Yes! Ditto understands websites as they appear*, including dynamic content, animations, and interactive elements. The engine generates production-ready code that matches the visual design perfectly.

Is it legal to clone websites?

Is the code production-ready?

The generated code is clean, well-structured, and follows modern best practices. However, you'll likely need to make some adjustments for production use, such as replacing hardcoded content with dynamic data, adding API integrations, implementing proper state management, and optimizing assets. Are there any limitations?

Ditto works best with standard web pages built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Very large pages (10+ MB) may take longer to process. Currently, Ditto does not support WebGL or Canvas rendering, as these rely on dynamic graphics rather than traditional DOM elements.
